Is God Dead? - Were the Disciples trippin? (relevance: 100%, date: Oct 29, 2025)
In the last few weeks, we have looked more closely at "swoon theories" that attempt to explain what happened to Jesus of Nazareth after His crucifixion. Specifically, we looked at the recent swoon theory offered by the critic David Mirsch. Like all previous swoon-type theories, Mirsch's theory fails to account for the minimal bedrock facts suggested by Gary Habermas and Michael Licona. SPRING HOPE - Six of nine people running for office in the town of Spring Hope made appearances at an Oct. 22 candidates' forum, held with decorum at Seven Paths Manor from 7 to 8 p.m. About 25 members of the public along with several other office-holders attended.
Emceed by Kyle Pritchard, the incumbent mayor running for re-election, candidates spoke in alphabetical order by first name, taking roughly five to seven minutes to speak on any and all issues they wished prior to time offered for informal meet-and-greets.

Downtown Nashville was filled with thousands of youngsters Friday night during the Town of Nashville's Trick-or-Treat Street. The Nashville Chamber of Commerce partners with the town to provide a safe candy collecting option. On site was plenty of candy, kids activities, a food truck and a movie afterwards.
