Spring Hope to re-bid water system project (relevance: 100%, date: Aug 13, 2025)
SPRING HOPE- A major project regarding replacement of Spring Hope's oldest water mains, many of which are downtown, is going back out for rebidding as initial bids came in way over budget.
The "water system improvement project" scope is to replace water mains, laterals and hydrants. Areas included are W. Nash to E. Nash Streets, S. Pine to N. Pine, S. Walnut to N. Walnut, Bunn Lane, S. RED OAK -- One of the top basketball players in the area's history is making a big change this offseason, one that not only is taking him outside of Nash County but outside of North Carolina as a whole.
Formerly of Northern Nash High School's Boys Basketball roster, one of the class of 2027's top players in C.J. Rosser announced on Sunday via social media that he would be leaving Northern this year, opting to attend Southeastern Preparatory Academy in Orlando, Florida this academic year.
