RED OAK -- Seasons ending in the number '8' have been memorable in the basketball history of Northern Nash High School.
In just the second year of the school's existence, Northern Nash claimed the Class 2-A Boys Hoops State Championship back in 1968.
Northern's girls repeated that feat on the Class 4-A level 30 years later, meaning both of those clubs were celebrating milestone anniversaries during the 2017-18 season.
