Herbert Paris Stallings

Herbert Paris Stallings, age 102, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Born in Wilson County on August 4, 1915, he was the son of the late John Williams Stallings and Lucye Price Paris. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Josephine Jenkins Stallings; brother, John W. Stallings; sister, Lucille Stallings High; and second wife, Margie Price Stallings.

He is survived by his daughters, Judith Stallings of Olive Branch, MS, and Shelley Stallings Sakas and husband, Steve, of Wilson; step-daughters, Judi Brewer Lee of Rocky Mount, and Sarah Jane Brewer Irvin of Raleigh; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services were held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A private burial will be held at a later date.
