NCC announces local nursing graduates

The Nash Community College Associate Degree Nursing pinning ceremony was held Thursday, May 16 in Brown Auditorium.
The time-honored tradition connects past nursing traditions with today's healthcare professionals. The College recognized 31 Nursing graduates.
"This ceremony is always very moving and symbolic," NCC President Dr. Bill Carver said.

Building on the success of the spring 2019 Job Fair, the city of Rocky Mount Parks and Recreation Department will host its summer 2019 Job Fair July 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the South Rocky Mount Community Center. GREENVILLE -- Host East Carolina University completed its journey through the elimination bracket Monday night, rolling past No. 3 seed Campbell 12-3 to win the NCAA Greenville Baseball Regional before a sellout crowd of 5,206 inside Clark-LeClair Stadium.
The Pirates will travel to face No. 7 national seed Louisville in the super regional round this coming weekend.
