This past Sunday The Peachtree Baptist Church Congregation family and friends took time to remember one of our cherished members who has gone on to rest in our Heavenly Father's arms. We will miss James "Bobby" Sykes.
The Sanctuary flower arrangement Sunday was presented to glorify God by Janice Sykes in loving memory of her husband, James "Bobby" Sykes who was called home to the Lord on May 27, 2019.

What a beautiful day for a celebration! People from New Mexico, Arizona, Missouri, Delaware, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and more traveled to Camp Mundo Vista to celebrate the camp's 50th Anniversary on Saturday, June 1! Amy Cary, Karen Girona, Marion Faulkner, Audrey Pearce, and Suzy Pearce from Red Oak enjoyed the celebration.

The Nash Community College Associate Degree Nursing pinning ceremony was held Thursday, May 16 in Brown Auditorium.
The time-honored tradition connects past nursing traditions with today's healthcare professionals. The College recognized 31 Nursing graduates.
"This ceremony is always very moving and symbolic," NCC President Dr. Bill Carver said.

Building on the success of the spring 2019 Job Fair, the city of Rocky Mount Parks and Recreation Department will host its summer 2019 Job Fair July 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the South Rocky Mount Community Center. Representatives from more than 20 local companies will be on hand to talk with prospective employees.

GREENVILLE -- Host East Carolina University completed its journey through the elimination bracket Monday night, rolling past No. 3 seed Campbell 12-3 to win the NCAA Greenville Baseball Regional before a sellout crowd of 5,206 inside Clark-LeClair Stadium.
The Pirates will travel to face No. 7 national seed Louisville in the super regional round this coming weekend.
