Is God Dead? - Hume's Probability
Is God Dead? - Hume's Probability

So upfront, I've got to tell you that the claim that a man was resurrected from the dead is quite extraordinary. Hume asked: "Is it more probable that a person is deceived, deceiving, or that the dead man actually rose from the dead?" In fact, it is so improbable that anyone claiming that a dead man rose from the dead is assumed to be lying. Hume put it this way: saying it is a strange thing that such miraculous events don't take place in our day.

NCHS principal shares strategies to raise scores

ROCKY MOUNT - With the recent spotlight on Nash Central High School because of its high SPG (school performance grade), part of which involves a growth rate making it among the top two percent in the state for 2024-2025 results, questions are being asked about how- and what- the school did to make this happen.
