Optimist top Wesley Men

ROCKY MOUNT -- The Town of Rocky Mount Youth Baseball Program's two longest-tenured squads hooked up in the 2020 season opener for both and they put on quite a July fireworks display for those in attendance last week at the Rocky Mount Sports Complex.
Breakfast Optimist outlasted the Wesley Men by a 19-15 count in 7 innings on a night when everyone seemed to hit, everyone seemed to score, everyone seemed to make an error or issue a walk and no one seemed to care if they did.

Luke's Word for the Week

Hi Fellow Followers. Much has changed and tensions have risen to unprecedented levels over the last months. It is an emotionally charged time as we continue to navigate a time that none of us have ever experienced. My heart breaks seeing the hatred, division, and discord that now seems to be the norm in our world. When we yell more than meet together, point the finger more than embrace, and post views more than consider our ways, we must stop and wait on the Lord.
