FRANCES BAKER WOOD

Frances Baker Wood (Mema), age 86, passed away on November 9, 2020. Frances was born on November 19, 1933 to John "Jack" and Minnie Beland Baker and raised by her grandparents, Elder, John Richard Baker and Fannie Hardison Baker in the Sandy Cross Community of Nash County. In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, J.C. "Bud" Wood; her sister Margie Baker; brother J.R. Baker; and sons-in-law Tommy Crumpler and Timmy Sykes.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce W. Crumpler and Atha W. Crumpler of Nashville; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and brother Ray Baker (Annis) of Virginia.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12 from 5:30 - 7 p.m., immediately followed by a memorial service at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville.
