JASPER FRANK "LITTLE JACK" LANGLEY, JR.

JASPER FRANK "LITTLE JACK" LANGLEY, JR.

Jack Langley of Lake Worth, Florida went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 16, 2016 at the age of 78. He was born to the late Cebra Parker Langley and Jack Frank Langley, Sr. on September 19, 1937; a birthdate that was shared with his sister, Dollie Rae. Jack was a "doll baby" to his older sisters whom preceded him in death, MaeBelle and Dollie Rae.

Born in Little Easonburg, Nash County, North Carolina, Jack moved to Largo, Florida after marriage. He wed the love of his life, Darlene Griffey Langley, in December of 1963. In 1969 the couple and their son, Mark, their pride and joy, moved to Lake Worth. In addition to his wife, he also leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Mark Anthony Langley of West Palm Beach and fiancé Kathy Cooney, as well as his beloved best friend, Boston.

He proudly served his nation in the United States Air Force overseas in Japan and was also stationed in Birmingham, Alabama. Jack worked at Jim Quinlan Chevrolet, Wayne Akers Ford, and Lake Worth AMC. Afterwards, he began his respectable entrepreneurship as an avid car salesman and dealership owner of Jack's Auto Sales.

Jack attained and shared pure happiness by spending time with his family. He brought endless laughs to them, including his many nieces and nephews to whom he served as an irreplaceable father and grandfather figure. He loved cruising with his wife and family but also found joy in the simple things in life, like hunting for mangoes, harvesting oranges and grapes, and riding the golf cart with his yellow lab, Boston.

A memorial service to celebrate his life was held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at National Burial and Cremation Society, Lake Worth, Florida.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Whitakers United Methodist Church, 304 Pippen Street, Whitakers, NC with Rev. Barbara Tyre officiating. Visitation will be 10:00am-11:00am, with the service following at 11:00am.

Memorials may be made to Whitakers United Methodist Church, PO Box 276, Whitakers NC 27891 or American Diabetes Association.
