ROCKY MOUNT - Stanley Bryant, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Born in Nash County on January 29, 1952, he was the son of the late Eldrige Earl Bryant and Betty Jean Hogshire Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Gwen Bryant; his sisters, Barbara Joyner, andIrene Vester; his brother, Larry Walton.

Stanley is survived by his daughter, Angela Bryant Edwards, and her husband, Kinchen, of Rocky Mount; his sons, Fred Killingsworth, and wife, Andrea, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Christopher Bryant, and wife Christie, of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren; his sisters, Dianne Dawes, Joanne Christian, Darlene Paul, and husband, Eddie, and Tammy Smith, and husband, Lewis; his brothers, Marvin Walton, and wife, Mary, and Bobby Bryant, and wife, Lynn; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held October 20, 2025 at Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Rocky Mount. Burial followed the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
