July 7-11
The Nash County Arts Council will host its second summer art camp for ages 7 & up with Kim Valentine, July 7-11 from 9 a.m. until noon, daily. Campers will paint, work with clay, create collage and mixed media art work and more! Cost is $100 for the week. ($95 Nash Ars Members) Supplies included in cost. July 7
The Nash County Arts Council will host its third four-week session of individual music classes, led by local instructor Joseph Barrett, beginning July 7th. Choose from Acoustic, Bass or Electric Guitar, Ukulele, or Music Theory! Registration is $145 for the four weeks. ($140 Nash Arts Members) These Monday classes are open to ages 6 - 106. July 9
The Nash County Arts Council will be hosting its monthly acrylic class for ages 16 through adult, Wednesday, July 9th, from 6-8:30 p.m. $40 ($35 Nash Arts Members) Supplies included in cost. July 10
The Nash County Arts Council will host a purse burning class, led by artist Regina Pena, on Thursday, June 10th, from 6-8:30 p.m. This is a beginner level class, from ages 16 through adult. July 14-18
The Nash County Arts Council will host an "Under the Sea" themed arts & crafts camp for special populations, ages 8-16, led by Carla Carnahan, July 14-18 from 9 a.m. until noon, daily. Northern Nash Class of 1979 will host its 46th Class Reunion October 17-18, 2025 at the Drake Community Center. The registration cost ($75 per person) for the Reunion Banquet on Oct. 18, $10 per person for the Tailgate Meet & Greet at the NNSH Football Game on Oct. 17, and t-shirt cost of $15 per person needs to be paid by JULY 31, 2025. We're looking for gently used LEGOs to inspire creativity, teamwork, and endless for kids in our community. Drop-off Location: 200 S. Boddie Street, Nashville NC.
