Sadly, most of the world no longer sees much of the "Good" in Good Friday. I guess that's why most businesses no longer observe it as a holiday.
But Good Friday is more than a holiday. And while we call it "Good", it actually commemorates one of the darkest days in history.

Volunteers mean a lot to a community

It says a lot about Nashville when the Chamber of Commerce's Distinguished Citizen of the Year award could go to any number of deserving candidates.

Community Christian Services builds handicap-access ramps for residents all over the area and they do it for free. Incredibly, they built 58 last year.

I was asked to share a little history as to why the Blooming Festival isn't blanketed in flowers.
