Nash County Animal Friends' Notebook

Shelter personnel have a hard job. It has been deemed one of the most stressful jobs. Maybe that is why they haven't replaced two officers that are extremely needed to patrol and handle calls. However, the pay and benefits are excellent, and it can be very rewarding. You must love and have a need to protect animals!
The shortage leaves only two officers and one Shelter person, who has been performing more of the duties of an officer.

Angels are more than messengers

Over the Christmas season, we frequently see angels depicted in church plays and in our decorations. When our grandchildren and nieces were looking at our Christmas decorations, they loved the angels and talked about them.
Listening to them talk about angels prompted a lot of questions about them. When did God create angels? What do angels do? How many angels are there? Do angels have bodies? What do angels look like? Do people become angels after death?

Russians may be trying to use me

While I can't tell you if the Russians are going to invade Ukraine, I can tell you that invading countries and world domination can get expensive.
I believe they are trying to use me to help raise funds. I've gotten several emails trying to lure me into giving them my personal information.
There have been five invoices from "McAfee," three from "Hulu" and two from "Geek Squad." All three of my "accounts" are being charged for the same amount. What a coincidence!
