This photo published in The Nashville Graphic in October of 1978. Three members of the Nashville Police Department received certificates upon completion of the basic 240-hour recruit training course required by the state for all law enforcement officers. All were among the top five percent in the class, taught at Nash Technical Institute, and one, Sandra Pridgen, with a 98.9 average, ranked first in the class of 50 students.
