RED OAK NEWS
The International Mission Study was held at Red Oak Baptist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 1.  As participants arrived to begin their journey to Thailand, they were greeted with a taste of Thailand in the form of tapioca pudding, tropical fruit, and apple slices.  There were sessions for all ages to learn about missions work and missions needs in Thailand.  The study was led by Kim Jones, Audrey Pearce, Suzy Pearce, Kristie Elder, and Judy Bass.  Remember to give to the Lottie Moon Offering during the month of December to aid the missionaries serving in many foreign countries.

The Baptist Men and RA’s had a great time preparing and selling BBQ plates Saturday, Dec. 4.  There was a great response with no BBQ left over!  A portion of funds raised will benefit the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

Members of Red Oak Baptist Church can  “mail” their Christmas cards through the GA Post Office.  The cost is only 25 cents per card! All donations will go toward the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

Everyone is invited to attend the Family Night Service on Sunday, Dec. 12 at 6:30 PM.  There will be refreshments following the service and the luminaries in honor or in memory of loved ones will be on display around the church.
