Lee-Ann Walters, a first grader at Nashville Elementary School, tries on the hat of Nash County Sheriff Sergeant S.K. Ricks at Careers on Wheels Day last Tuesday at the school. Over 24 presenters came out to the school and parked their vehicles around the school, speaking to students about their jobs. All the classes got to rotate to each vehicle and learn about the different types of careers in their community. Some of the presenters included Kindred Spirits Farms, Nashville Fire Department, Farmer Mike McIntyre, East LifeCare, Nash County Sheriff’s Department, NC Highway Patrol, McLane Carolina, Pet’s Best Friends, ATV Race Driver Andrea Pritchard, Nash County Emergency Services, NC Wildlife, Nashville Police Department,  Nash Equipment Rental, Edwards Crane and Ward Drug  (Graphic photo by Amanda Clark)
