BAILEY - Ruth Williams Bass, 92, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Funeral services were held August 28, 2026, at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment followed in Bailey Town Cemetery. Rematha Davis officiated.

Ruth is survived by her son, Glenn Bass and sister, Joan Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Bass; son, Randy Bass; parents, Willard and Sudie Williams, and her sisters, Shelby Bailey and Betty Lou Waddell.
