NASHVILLE - Edward Lee Smiley, 84, passed away on August 24, 2026. Born on July 23, 1942, he was the son of the late William Smiley and Callie Stephenson Smiley.

Edward is survived by his wife, Linda Smiley, three daughters: Samantha Smiley, Tammy Freeman, and Susan Freeman; five grandchildren; three great‑grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings and two sons, Eddie Smiley and Vernon Smiley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
