LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Janie E. Sherill, age 73, who died on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 1 p.m. from the Mt. Hebron United Holiness Church in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Oakwood cemetery.

She is survived by her sister, Ellen Ruffin of Louisburg; brothers, Robert Ruffin (Nancy) of Youngsville and James Smith (Jean) of Bunn.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 5-6 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg.
