HOLLISTER - Funeral services for Lizzie Richardson Burgess, age 103, who died on Friday, June 5, 2026, will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 2 p.m. from the Pine Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister with Rev. Thomas Richardson, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lynch Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Evans of Hollister; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
