MIDDLESEX - Catherine Brown Strickalnd, 91, passed away April 29, 2026. Funeral services were held May 2, 2026, at Stoney Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Middlesex. Interment followed in Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex. Rev. Ricky Anderson officiated.
Catherine is survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Roger Amerson; sisters, Almeta Allen and husband, Johnny, Judy Brown, and Barbara Narron; brother, Hoyt Brown and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Willis Strickland; daughter, Janet Amerson; parents, Allen and Reba Brown; sister, Shirley Hopkins and Margaret Allen; brother, Jay Brown, and Wallace Brown; sister-in-law, Gertrude Saunders and brother-in-law, John Strickland. |
