JAN VIVERETTE HARRINGTON

Jan Viverette Harrington, 87, passed away on April 21, 2026. She was born in Nash County on February 1, 1939, a daughter of the late Roy Edward Viverette and Bessie Brantley Viverette.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Yvonne "Von" Viverette Dickerson and her husband, Ivan; her sister, Evelyn Viverette Cowan and her husband, Gurvis; her brother, Roy Frederick Viverette; and her brother, Dale Edward Viverette.

Jan is survived by her daughter, Joy Strickland Craig and her husband, Kenneth, of Morehead City; her daughter, Anne Strickland and Michelle Brewer, of Emerald Isle; two grandchildren; her sister, Betty Ann Viverette Strickland of Nashville; her sister, Christine Viverette Poland and her husband, Johnny, of Nashville; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held April 24, 2026 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
