Lumberton - Ashton Scott Hutson, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. He was born in Fayetteville to Quincy "Alvin" Hutson and Nora Lee Hutson, and lived most of his life in Rocky Mount.

Scott is survived by his parents, Alvin Hutson of Rocky Mount and Nora Lee Hutson of Nashville; brothers, Shane Hutson and wife, Diana of Nashville, TN and Brian Hutson and wife, Jennifer of Nashville ; nieces and nephews and extended family.

A memorial remembrance was held April 21, 2026 at Davis-Little Funerals, Rocky Mount.
