ROCKY MOUNT - Virginia Bradley, age 102, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Born in Nash County on September 24, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Eligh Williams and Zoma Rose Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Fleming Bradley, and 9 brothers and sisters.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Inez Croom, Delores Jones, and Tally Edwards; son, Gary V. Bradley (Judy); five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Tammy Carter officiating. A visitation will be from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
