VIRGINIA LANCASTER PERRY

ROCKY MOUNT - Virginia Lancaster Perry, age 84, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Born in Northampton County on December 18, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Henry Thad Lancaster and Sophia Grant Lancaster. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Lancaster Arnold; and her brothers, Larry Lancaster, and John Lancaster.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jesse Lee Perry; her sons, Dock Daniel Winfree, III, and Timothy Winfree (Tracie); and her brother, Jerry Lancaster.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Red Oak Baptist Church in the Family Life Center with Pastor Chris Fowler officiating. Burial will follow the service at Williams Family Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the Family Life Center at Red Oak Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Virginia's memory to Red Oak Baptist Church-Building Fund at 5515 Red Oak Road, Red Oak, NC 27868.
