ROCKY MOUNT - Bobby Gene Langley, age 88, passed away October 10, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1937, the oldest child born to Sidney Ross and Jetta Dorsey Langley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Garland Langley, Charles Langley and Peggy Vester.
He is survived by his son, Byron Langley of Rocky Mount; daughter, Diane Crute of Newport News, VA; sister, Joyce Proctor and husband, Ralph of Nashville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
