NASHVILLE - Veronica Lewis Morrison, 85, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Born in Edgecombe County on August 30, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Robert Roy Lewis Sr. and Effie May Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Basil Morrison; and her brothers, Douglas Lewis, Basil Lewis, and Robert Roy Lewis Jr.

Veronica is survived by her sons, Rodney Morrison (Bridget) and David Morrison (Jenny); two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sisters, Loretta Carothers and Marie Moore; and her brothers, Carroll Lewis and Leon Lewis (Evelyn).
