ROCKY MOUNT - Linda Moore Johnson, age 73, passed away December 9, 2024. She was born in Nash County on June 18, 1951 to Julius Henry Moore, Jr. and Sallie Joyner Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-nephew, Michael Dee Turner, Jr.
She is survived by her siblings, Joe Ann Turner (Reece) of Elm City, Judy M. King (David) of Rocky Mount, Faye M. Hart (Steven) of Smithfield and Tony Moore (Paula) of Nashville; nephews and nieces, a great-nephew and great-great-nephew.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
