Johnny "John" McKinney Jr., 54, passed away October 29, 2023. He was born in Forsyth County, NC on September 18, 1969.

Johnny is survived by his father Johnny McKinney Sr. (Jeani); mother Cathy Knapp; wife Christina Onorato; daughter Ashley Matthews (Jonathan); for grandchildren; brothers Joshua McKinney and Jeremiah Knapp; step sister Darla Pitts; two nieces and numerous close friends.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Gourd Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Spring Lake, NC with Rev. Woody Griffin officiating.
