Howard Wilson Taylor of Rocky Mount passed away October 8, 2023 at the age of 81. He was born in Angier on January 8, 1942. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Gertrude B. Taylor, daughter Donna T. Green, brother Glenn Taylor, and sister Dot Davidson.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Linda A. Taylor of Rocky Mount; daughters Rhonda T. Capps (Billy) of Red Oak, Sandra K. Taylor (Todd McGee) of Lincolnton, and Jennifer T. Moss (Brian) of Spring Hope; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Mickey Johnson of Lumberton; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Arnold of Angier and Slim Davidson of Meridian, MS.
A service will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Benvenue Baptist Church, Rocky Mount. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:45 p.m. with the service to begin at 2 p.m. The burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
