Shelby Jean Whitley Winstead, 86, passed away March 17, 2023. She was born July 20, 1936 to the late Roney Bunn and Cleo Whitley Bunn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Romey Winstead; son Timothy Mark Whitley; two grandchildren Addie and Justin Whitley.

Shelby is survived by her sons B.J. Whitley (Shelby), Chuck Whitley, Sammy Whitley, and Vince Whitley (Dawn); daughter Sylvia Evans (Delton); step-sons Bobby Winstead (Terry) and Mike Winstead (Louise); sixteen grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brothers Jacob, Ellis and Cordell Bunn; sisters Louise Lewis, Lucille Wilder, Elsie Draper, May Taylor, Ruby Hopkins and Pauline Burnette.

Visitation with family and friends will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Scot Barnes officiating
