BARBARA STALEY TAYLOR

ROCKY MOUNT - Barbara Staley Taylor, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Born in Randolph County on February 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late William Esten Staley, Sr. and Sula Thomas Staley. She was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Ina Staley; and her brother, Leo Staley.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Louis Jerome Taylor, Sr.; her two daughters, Roxanne Taylor and Vickie Taylor; and her son, Louis Jerome "Jerry" Taylor, Jr (Tammy); five grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; her brother, William Staley, Jr.; her sister, Norma Ford (Lynn); and her sister-in-law, Nancy Staley.
A service was held December 3, 2022 at First United Methodist Church, Rocky Mount.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara's memory to First United Methodist Church, 100 S. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
