Martha Christine Thompson Hardee, 97, passed away September 15, 2022. She was born in Nash County to the late Jessie and Ettie Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Hardee; brother Robert Thompson; sisters Ruby Warren and Pearl Massengale.

Christine is survived by her daughters Gail Freeman (Butch) and Susan Hardee; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Forest Hill Cemetery.
