MIDDLESEX - Sylvester Rogers, age 78, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope. Interment will follow at Meeks Cemetery, Spring Hope.
A viewing will be held from 11a.m. - 12 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Hattie Rogers of the home; two children, Barbara Blount of Norfolk, VA and Travis Rogers of Apex; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two siblings, Thomas Kinder of Spring Hope and Mamie Archibald of Virginia Beach, VA; mother-in-law, Naomi Kent; four sisters-in-law, Pecala Davis, Charlene Stone, Apostle Shelby Dunston, and Prophetess Brenda Kent; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. |
