James "Wesley" Boulden, Sr., 73, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. He was born February 4, 1949 in Nash County to the late Bennie and Annabelle Fisher Boulden. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Alvis and Phillip Boulden.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Connie Boulden; son James "Jake" Wesley Boulden, II and wife Sianna; daughter Mekenzie Peeler and husband Danny; two brothers Wayne Boulden (Linda) and Wade Boulden (Irma); sisters Ola Mae Bobbitt, Alice Faye Lucas, and Marie Braswell; three grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 12:30-2:45 p.m. at Castalia Baptist Church with a funeral service to be held at 3 p.m. . Burial will follow at Boulden Family Cemetery of Castalia.
