Rebecca "Becky" Mabeck" Jones Bass, 83, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022. She was born January 19, 1939 in Halifax County to the late James B. and Irene Braddy Jones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Marvin R. Jones.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years L.R. "Teck" Bass, Jr.; two sons Leslie Bass III (Janet) and Daniel Bass (Renee); daughter Beth Edwards (Tim); brother Fred Jones (Peggy); sister-in-law Pat Jones; six grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 1, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Momeyer Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery of Nashville.
