Roy Junior Taylor, passed away on October 19, 2021. Roy was born in Nash County on May 17, 1951 to the late Albert Junior Taylor and Bettie Sarah Morgan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jason Taylor; daughter April Rashaw; great-granddaughter Braylee Rashaw; granddaughter Brandi Rashaw; grandsons, Twins Alex and Aiden Taylor; brother Donald Ray Taylor; and sisters Ruby Barham, Marie Boykin, and Mary Elizabeth Collins.

He is survived by his spouse Paula S. Taylor of 44 years; sons, Josh Taylor (Michelle) and John Taylor (Tia); 8 grandchildren; brothers David Taylor (Linda) and Earl Taylor; lots of nieces, nephews and friends. There are no services planned at this time.
