ROCKY MOUNT - Jesse Thomas "Tommy" Cobb, Jr., age 84, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Born in Halifax County on April 6, 1937, he was the son of the late Jesse Thomas Cobb, Sr. and Thelma Elizabeth Lowe Cobb. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Lowe Cobb and Jesse Earnhardt Cobb; and his sisters, Betty Jean Cobb Francis, Doris Cobb Lee, and Janice Faye Cobb Hollis.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 13 years, Alberta Jones Cobb; his sons, Christopher Thomas Cobb (Kendall) of Nashville and Timothy Allan Cobb (Erica) of Cary; his daughter, Amy Cobb Medlock (Brian) of Crouse; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery, Scotland Neck. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 6 - to 7:30 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
