Shelton Glenn Joyner, 51, passed away October 12, 2021. He was born in Nash County, December 2, 1969. He was preceded in death by his father, Sammy G. Joyner.

He is survived by his wife Darlene Moss Joyner; his mother, Susan Speight Joyner; sons Isaiah Joyner, Zechariah Joyner; daughters Michelle Joyner Ordonez (Jonathan), Ashly Joyner; five grandchildren; brother, Samuel Frank Joyner (Aimee); sister-in-law, Dana Barberio (Mike), numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 15, 2021, at 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
