ROCKY MOUNT - Barbara Hartman Bradshaw, age 89, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021. Born in Nash County on March 19, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William Boyden Hartman and Anna Briggs Hartman Wheeless. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Charles Martin Bradshaw; her step-father, Bernice Jarrot Wheeless; and her step-brother, BJ Wheeless.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Angela "Marty" Donaldson and husband, Jeff, of Battleboro; two grandchildren; her sister, Peggy Nobles; her brother, Ronnie Hartman and wife, Edna; her step-sister-in-law, Katie Wheeless; and many nieces and nephews.

A suneral service will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Parkwood Baptist Church, 1731 Hunter Hill Road, Rocky Mount. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her daughter Marty.
