ROCKY MOUNT - Wilbur "Garland" Coley, age 82, passed away on August 2, 2021. He was born on September 16, 1938 in Nash County to William and Minnie Register Coley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Coley; two brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Corrine Coley; children, Derrick Coley (Deborah) of Hudson, Vann Coley (Katherine) of Hudson, Randy Coley (Gail) of Nashville and Amber Perez (Jose Caballero) of Rocky Mount; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
A graveside service was held August 5, 2021 at Pineview Cemetery. |
