TOMMY "BUTCH" WEST, JR.

BATTLEBORO - Tommy "Butch" West, Jr., age 76, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. Born in Nash County on April 12, 1945, he was the son of the late Thomas Gordon West, Sr. and Annie Mae Barrett West. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Jane West.

Butch is survived by his daughters, Sherry West Taylor and husband, Robert, of Whitakers, and Terri West Hawkins and Chris Jones, of Nashville; his son, Tim Joyner, of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren;three great-grandchildren; his sister Jean Ann West Bryant, of Spring Hope; cousinsand and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Battleboro Cemetery A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside. Flowers are welcome.
