Richard Glenn Ricks was born on August 21, 1951 in Rocky Mount.
He is survived by his his wife, Nannie; son, Richard Glenn II (Joanna); his daughter, Keersten Michelle (Logan); five sisters, Rev. Jacqueline Richardson of Castalia, Geraldine James (Alphonso) of Greensboro, Linda Ricks of Nashville, Marilyn Jackson (Raymond) of Spring Hope, and Judy Ricks of Rocky Mount; six brothers, Sidney Ricks (Cathy) of Rocky Mount, Dennis Ricks, Nashville, James Ricks (Patricia) Portsmouth, VA, Jessie Ricks of Rhode Island, James Sessoms (Lena) Nashville; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Plummer Ricks Jr. and sister Carolyn Ricks.
Visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 12:00-12:45 p.m. with funeral service to follow at1 p.m. at Fellowship Church of Nashville. |
