MIDDLESEX - Joan Joyner Griffin, 82 of Middlesex passed away May 16, 2021. Her funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at Union Chapel, Middlesex. Visitation is from 1-1:45 prior to the service. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey.
Joan is survived by her daughter, Ava Dale Griffin of Wilson; son, Randy Douglas Griffin and wife, Rhonda of Middlesex; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Jessie Wiggs of Louisburg, Joyce Eason of Wilson, Marion Bradley of Bailey, and Cathy Coble of Mt. Pleasant, and her brother, Jerry Feree of Siler City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, K.K. Griffin; daughter, Judy Lewis; grandson, Phillip Denton, and her brothers, Arnold Bradley and Buddy Bradley.
