James (Mack) Pendergrass, 74, formerly of Castalia, passed away on April 13, 2021.

He is survived by his wife Betty Ann Pendergrass; daughter, Tammy Sheffield; two grandsons; one great-grandson; sisters, Rachel Faulkner of Castalia, Dorothy Ayscue of Henderson and Cora Ann Creedmore of Louisburg; brothers Tony Pendergrass of Castalia and John H. Pendergrass of Sharpsburg.

A memorial will be held at 3 p.m. on May 16, 2021 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 5119 Duke Road, Castalia.
