Sandra Carol Sykes Walker, 64, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021. She was born September 3, 1956, in Nash County to the late Paul and Lorene Swanson Sykes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Sykes.

She is survived by her husband, Buddy Walker; sisters, Paulette Griffin (George), Gail Moeller (Bill), and Pam Nunez (Raul); nephews; nieces; and many great nephews and nieces.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at 11 a.m. A visitation will follow after the service.

Flowers are welcomed or donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of your choice.
