CASTALIA - Funeral services for James "Gene Artis" Richardson, age 69, who died on Friday, February 5, 2021, will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery in Hollister.

He is survived by his wife, Flonnie Richardson of the home; one daughter, Joyce Burwell (Dexter) of Rocky Mount; one sister, Ruby Richardson (Ollie) of Centerville; two brothers, Rev. Willie Gray Richardson (Donna) of Wendell, Elmo Richardson of Trenton, NJ; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 until 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
