ARTHUR "NEWSOME" STRICKLAND

Arthur "Newsome" Strickland, 77, passed away January 29, 2021.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 3, 20201 at 1 p.m., Cedar Rock Missionary Baptist Church, Castalia.

Viewing is Tuesday, February 2, 5-6 p.m. Richardson Funeral Home, Louisburg.

He is survived by three sons, Arthur Strickland (Sharon) of Clayton, Tim Strickland (Latonya) and Batone Hicks, both of Louisburg; two sisters, Joanne Battle and Melissa Dean, both of Louisburg; six brothers, Roma Strickland (Delois) of Ft. Washington, MD, John Thomas Strickland of Balitmore, MD, Charles Strickland (Jewel) of Deer Park, NY, Willie Strickland (Beulah) and Baby Ray Strickland, both of Louisburg, Morris Strickland of High Point; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
