CASTALIA - Matthew Rochelle Batchelor, 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2002.

A virtual memorial was held Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 2 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Batchelor of the home, two daughters, Shirley Lewis (James) of Zebulon and Betty Bostic (Lester) of Durham; two sons, Alphaeus Earl Batchelor (Lanora) of Rocky Mount and Joseph Keith Batchelor (Rhonda) of Apex; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
