WILLIE PAUL "BILL" PRIDGEN

ROCKY MOUNT - Willie Paul "Bill" Pridgen, 88, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020. He was born March 29, 1932 in Nash County to the late Bennie Elbert and Pearl Narron Pridgen. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jack, Buddy, Junior, and James Pridgen; sisters, Myrtie Pridgen, Mattie Williams and Doris Burgess Hall.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Jean Bone Pridgen; sons, Paul Anthony "Tony" Pridgen and wife Marie, Timothy Alan Pridgen and wife Carol, and Stephen Eric Pridgen and wife Debbie; five grandchildren; four step grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Batts, Betty Hawley, and Bobbie White; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bill's memory to either the Salvation Army, Samaritan's Purse, or another charity of one's choice.
